How to Transfer Your Cosmetics Hygienically and Safely

We conduct independent tests to ensure that our pod materials meet strict EU standards. They are also free of BPA and plasticizers, and their opaque, double-walled structure reliably protects your products from UV radiation and temperature fluctuations. The pods are easy to clean thanks to their large openings, making them particularly hygienic and durable. Nevertheless, there are a few things you should keep in mind when transferring liquids. We have compiled the most important tips and rules for you below.

No Compromises on Material Quality

Non-compliant plastics may contain plasticizers that could migrate into your cosmetics under certain circumstances.

Not Every Product Is Suitable

Do not fill the containers with nail polish remover, strong acids, or hair dye. These products contain aggressive substances that can attack plastics.

Other aggressive products are also not suitable for decanting.

Only take oxygen-sensitive products such as vitamin C with you if the container is not opened frequently – or simply leave them in their original packaging. A pump can also help to protect oxygen-sensitive products.

Hygiene is Everything

Pay attention to hygiene when transferring liquids, and in particular, only use clean utensils and travel containers. This will prevent unwanted contamination.
