Product Safety

The safety of your Pods and the products transferred into them is very important to us. We have compiled all the important information on this page. First, we would like to give you the most important tips for transferring cosmetics. Below, you will find important care and safety instructions for your Pods.
Guidelines for Transferring Cosmetics
We conduct independent tests to ensure that our Pod materials meet strict EU standards. They are also free of BPA and plasticisers, and their opaque, double-walled structure reliably protects your products from UV radiation and temperature fluctuations. The Pods are easy to clean thanks to their large openings, making them particularly hygienic and longer-lasting. Nevertheless, there are a few things you should keep in mind when transferring cosmetics. Below, we have compiled the most important tips and rules to help you get it right.

-1-
Avoid containers if you are not sure if they comply with the safety standards you would like to adhere to (in our case, the EU regulations).
Non-compliant plastics can unfortunately contain plasticizers that may migrate into your cosmetics.
-2-
Do not put nail polish remover, strong acids or hair dye in travel containers - these contain aggressive substances that can attack plastics.
Other aggressive products are also not suitable for transferring.
-3-
Are you using a product of which you are not sure whether you can transfer it? Please send us a message!

-4-
Only take oxygen-sensitive products such as Vitamin C with you if the container is not opened frequently - or simply leave them in their original packaging.
A pump can also help to protect oxygen-sensitive products.
-5-
Pay attention to hygiene when transferring your cosmetics, in particular only use clean utensils and travel containers.
This will prevent unwanted contamination.
-6-
Use up all products promptly after your trip and clean the containers thoroughly.
You will also find information on the shelf life after opening on your original packaging.
General product information
Rinse the pods thoroughly with warm water before using them for the first time.
We recommend washing the pods by hand with a little soap under running water.
If the pods need a deep clean, you can wash them in the dishwasher at up to 60°C, but please do not wash them together with heavy food residues to prevent discoloration. After washing, the Pods may be difficult to close because the seal has expanded. In this case, please dry the Pods thoroughly and leave them to rest for a few hours. If the lids are still difficult to close, you can also reduce friction by applying a little cosmetics to the upper edge of the thread.
Only use the Pods for cosmetic and non-corrosive liquids. They are also not suitable for nail polish remover, highly acidic products, or hair dye.
The Pods are not toys and are not suitable for children due to the strong magnets. If the containers are broken and the magnets are swallowed, there is a risk of death.
